Located in the north end of Oshawa is one of my favourite caribbean restaurants, as they always deliver with quality.
I always find myself coming back and at this point tried their entire menu. My favourite is the oxtail, jerk chicken, curry goat, and their spicy beef patty is a must on every visit.
My Order at Allwyn’s Jerk
I ordered a large jerk pork with rice and peas, it came with three sides being coleslaw, corn, and salsa.
I also got a spicy beef patty because it’s always a must.
They poured oxtail gravy all over the jerk pork and rice. Chasing some refreshing coleslaw, salsa, or corn after a heavy bite like that made me want even more and more.
The Verdict
They season and cook the meat very well, random times I find myself craving their jerk chicken covered with oxtail gravy and rice.
I always enjoyed eating at this place, they really do care about making good food.
A spicy beef patty is a must with every order, it’s not that spicy, trust me.
